伍潤棠女士年少時喜歡游山玩水，熱愛大自然，而對石頭的情緣便是在廣東省二輕廳工藝美術部工作時所接觸到的藝術開始。當時，她曾見到一塊形狀奇特的石頭，那天然的紋理，超脫的靈氣，展現着迷人的色彩，因而被這一塊石頭深深吸引，也從此愛上石頭。
